The Chicago Auto Show held earlier this month was the birthplace of the significantly improved 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. The refreshed three-row Atlas will arrive on the market in May or June of this year.

Still the largest and most versatile SUV you can buy from Volkswagen, the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas is as spacious and refined as ever. It features a new design that’s more rounded, and more noticeable. The front grille now features the redesigned Volkswagen logo and there are new designs for the 18, 20, and 21-inch wheels available on the Atlas.

Inside, the steering wheel is all-new and also features the new Volkswagen logo. The other significant change is the addition of the 8-inch centre touchscreen on more versions.

Under the hood, the 2021 Atlas will still feature either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 235 horsepower or a 3.6-litre V6 with 276 horsepower. The main change is that you can now order 4Motion all-wheel drive with the entry-level 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder.
