The Volkswagen T-Roc R shows the full potential of a VW’s small SUV

Do you know the Volkswagen T-Roc? It's a small, compact sport utility vehicle that's smaller than a Tiguan, Volkswagen's current entry-level SUV. The T-Roc is not confirmed yet for Canada, but we should see it coming to North America later this year.

Indeed, Volkswagen is looking to add a sport utility to its range and the T-Roc would be perfect at this level. It is small and agile in the city while being spacious, reflecting at the same time perfectly the desires and needs of Canadian consumers.

The recent Volkswagen T-Roc R that will be presented next week at the Geneva Motor Show also demonstrates a very sporty side that will appeal to those who do not want to compromise. Imagine a Volkswagen Golf R with more ground clearance and you have a good idea of what the T-Roc R stands for.

Powered by a 300-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, it gets from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds, which is quite impressive in its own right, especially for a sport utility vehicle. It also offers 4Motion all-wheel drive, 19-inch wheels and a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.

While we wait for the Volkswagen T-Roc, come to Fifth Avenue Volkswagen to take a look at our full range of new SUVs including the Tiguan and Atlas.
