Volkswagen gives more information about the battery of the ID.3

Earlier this year. Volkswagen introduced the all-new Volkswagen ID.3, a 100% electric car that is part of its ambitious plan to electrify its range and offer new all-electric models on the market. The ID.3 will eventually be available in Canada, but it’s still probably about a year away. A few days ago we learned more about the battery of the Volkswagen ID.3 and more specifically its warranty.

We already knew that the battery of the Volkswagen ID.3 will be able to travel between 330 kilometers and 550 kilometers. You will gain over 260 kilometers of range on a 125-kWh charging station in less than 30 minutes. The battery is certainly impressive, and its warranty is just as impressive.

Volkswagen also confirmed at the end of June that the new battery will be protected for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. The German manufacturer promises that the batteries will retain 70% of their capacity after 8 years or 160,000 kilometers.

We will know more about the new Volkswagen ID range and the impressive ID.3 in the coming months. In the meantime, contact us today at Fifth Avenue Volkswagen to find out more.
